Winter test proving ground project
We welcome you on the official website of winter test proving ground project. The project is realized by Innovative industrial park "Three Valleys" under Yakut State University. There will be two proving grounds in Yakutia (Eastern Siberia, Russia). Yakutia is situated on a unique climate zone. It has the lowest temperatures on the planet in winter period from October to April.

The first testing area is 50 km to the south from Yakutsk (in the village of Oktyomtsy), capital city of Yakutia. Yakutsk has a modern infrastructure, comfortable living conditions and the necessary logistics. The lowest temperature in Yakutsk was fixed at -64C or -83.2F. The proving ground is started this year. First products test is started in winter 2008-2009.

The second testing area is situated in Oymyakon, 800 km to the east from Yakutsk. This place is known as the coldest place on Earth excluding the Antarctic. The lowest temperature here was fixed at -71.2C or -96.2F. Oymyakon is the Northern Pole of Cold.

At this stage we are studying needs of manufacturers to take into account their requests.
